Getting Kicked by Punkbuster.

Hi all,

Since to day (3:44 AM 23:3-2012) I am getting nothing but kicked out of every server that I join for about 5 minutes and getting the warning

"Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'SoulRipper-BK-' (for 2 minutes) ... Violation (IGNORING QUERIES) #9006"

Or getting the same thing but then

"Ignoring for MD5TOOL Querie."

I have updated my punkbuster and every thing ells is up to date but I'm still getting the same warning.  Evil or Very Mad
I've also checked the battlefield Forums and other forums but they all have the same answers "We have no Cleu O_O"

Please help, I just want to play the game :'(.

Many thanks,

SoulRipper*bk*

It is possible your anti-virus is causing an issue here.  Next time you play try disabling it and see if that helps.  Or if you can allow trusted applications within the av add punkbuster and bf3 .exe's.

if you are running program's like daemon tools are overlays like ts viewer these could cause an issue

If you have updated punkbuster and added the game to PB and check for updates that way too, I agree with Mr. T....make sure you don't have any overlays running (or anything that displays time, FPS or even who is talking in TS-TS Overlay) or even check for MSI running in the background. I had this issue with MSI and disabled it and never had this issue again.

If you can't take the pain, maybe you shouldn't play!

Try setting punkbuster A & B to real-time priority in task manager, A runs all the time & B will be visible once you start the game... You may also want to check different forums and see if installing/updating punkbuster in a particular order fixes kick issues.  I don't remember off hand what the order was something like; remove PB, fresh install PB, run PB update, Add BF3 to PB, run PB update.

I'm not sure if any of these issues have migrated to BF3 but they did pop up in BC2 after the game had been out for awhile and the above fixed the problems I was having.

If an MD5 file integrity check is failing, then PB is either detecting a file that doesn not match it's MD5 records, or the MD5 tool is not working properly.

I assume Pnkbstra.exe and pnkbstrb.exe are running? ANd when you manually run pbsetup.exe, did you first manually delete your \pb\ folder within you Battlefield folder?

Do you have an antivirus that could be blocking any PB component, whether it be file access or interaction?

Try contacting Evenbalace about it:
