Free version of Adobe Creative Suite V2

Adobe is giving away free copies of Creative Suite 2, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.:

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html

It's old software for sure, but considering the number of people I know still using Photoshop CS1, I'd say it suffices for  those who can't afford Adobe software otherwise, and it's more powerful than GIMP without plugins.

I have no idea how long this offer will last, so get it while it's still available. Apparently, it's been out for over a week, but I just read about it today.

I used Photoshop for years before the disks would not install on my newer windows operating system and having retired I would not pay the $600 they wanted for the newer version. If this works it will be great to have their creative suite again, even if it is not the latest version Thanks!!

This must be galling to those who bought it.

This version came out years ago.  At the time people bought it, it was brand new.

It is like a car, after several years it almost becomes worthless however when it was brand new it held value.

Same case in the software.  They really have no room to complain.
