i don't have many or any mp shooters. i mostly have single and coop games but wanted to get into mp shooters on pc. i've played some on xbox. but i sold that thing. i just have a laptop so most high end games like bf3 may not play at full res but i can play alot of games on low though

Most here are probably going to suggest World at War.
It's a good game, not my favorite but to each his own.

Battlefield 3 is fun, but if you buy it find it for cheap on Origin, don't pay full price as BF4 is coming soon.

awesome. yeah i'm looking forward to bf4 wanna build me a computer for it! i may get w@w just to have a shooter to muck around with the guys but not to take too seriously.

I also would say WaW or the first Modern Warfare.

World at War has a fairly large player base still.  Our server is pretty popular.  Plus nothing extra you need to purchase like map packs.  Just install, download all the updates, and prepare to die.

COD5  World at War should work  well on a laptop,  many other BK members use that type of pc as well.

I'm sure we have a few members that play Modern Warfare, but we don't have any servers for it. At the moment we only support World at War, Black Ops, and BF3.

First Black Ops - some of the guys play ZOMBIES, I for one have never acquired the taste for Zombie meat

I used to play Black Ops (the original one, not the latest) on my laptop and it worked just fine.
The older Modern Warfare games also worked well, but they're not supported by our servers.
BF3 was too much for my poor little lappy though......

i jumped in the tdm server for a bit. almost got kicked for not crouching lol woops i got better at remembering though. i'm now trying to figure out where you ts ip so i can talk and not have to type lol

Give World of Tanks a go?  It should play just fine on a laptop.
