I just reformatted my PC, and I've installed WaW again, along with all the patches (upto 1.7) I enter the game, I then try to make a new profile as it wouldn't let me back up my old profile. I make a new profile called Reinis-BK- and it says 'Notice, You need an online profiler to play in Cooperative and multiplayer modes. Do you want to make an online profile now' I click 'Yes' and it then takes me back to where you choose a name, it repeats this without any success, any ideas?

p.s I'll be changing my name to Reinis (yes again) I already had Zeek, Zeeek & Z33K.

You can only have maximum number of profiles associated with a single game serial. (5 i think?), so you'll have to delete one. Start MP, Select Online Profile, and select one or more to delete/remove. After than, you should be able to make the new one.

Why are you not able to use your old data and rename it? if you still have the data, see the thread, "How to Change your name w/o Losing rank" Stickied in the W@W section.

I did a clean install of win 7 so this wouldn't be the case, so I couldn't get back my old data, although I did try that but it didn't work.

I don't think my WaW installed correctly as it's not coming up in my add/remove programs tab. I'm just going to do a system restore and re-install, I'll keep you updated.

UPDATE : Looks like I've resolved the issue, did a system restore and re-installed the game, not put on any patches yet but it is letting make my new account, fingers crossed!
