Ok guys I am having trouble attaching a file of mine in as my Avatar image.  I have gone into the account settings -> edit information and scrolled down to the avatar input.  I copied the file I wanted from my image file then pasted it into the space provided.  But it doesn't work.

The only way to get a custom avatar on is to link to it in that dialogue field. You'll have to use a hosting site like photobucket, your own webspace taht your ISP may provide, imgshack.us, tinypic, etc. Me, I use storage given me by WSGF. No registration or sign-in is required. If you need to resize the dimensions or filesize, you can use an online image editor such as pixlr.com
