you may have only been kicked unfortunately all battlefield games show kicks as bans, im am un sure the reason but generally it is due to bad language i suggest you read our rules, you can find them under the link in the main menu or by clicking this link

hey ziggyzipgun

i'm not sure if your aware that BF3, BF4 and BF:H no longer use punkbuster as there main admining tool it is now procon and i believe that procon does kicks as temp bans but just states you were banned

but

yes you can appeal a ban you can use the contact us button in the main menu or click this link and selecting "player" from the first drop down and then "i got kicked/banned" from the second then fill out the mini form in the final box.
