Yah I have Att and even though it's been rock solid I can only get 24 down here. If you can definitely go with a 2 part not together. You'll get better range and performance but if you don't need the wifi range go with 2 in 1.

I have Comcast tv/internet/phone and use their wifi router/modem, work good so far. I turned off the built in hotspot, wifi is now faster.
