Just got back from GameStop. They showed me the noticed they received from EA, "Please inform your customers that ordered the Deluxe Edition that it has been cancelled."
My gut tells me they want buyers to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition if you want early perks! This may be my last EA game.
I also forgot that all versions are digital download, no disc.

I just called EA., turns out it's a GameStop scam!
You order a deluxe edition and pay the extra money, when you pick up the say that version is cancelled but "we'll get the codes for you from EA to make up the difference". The customer pays the $80 bucks and gets standard game and codes. Gamestop just made an extra $20 by paying EA lower price for the game and  then calling support for the free codes!
Nice huh!

Wow that's crazy.  I pre ordered my deluxe through Origin and got 10% off for being a Vault Access member.  I quit dealing with my consoles so I cancelled my PS4 & XB1 pre order and sticking to PC.

Final outcome, Gamestop did not scam me but they're not too smart.
I found the problem after I got my money back. I looked at all my receipts and the SKU# was changed. I pre-ordered BF1 on dics (sku#X) 3 months later the the sku# is Y and Deluxe edition cancelled. The game version was not cancelled the physical disc was cancelled and changed to digital download!! The guy at Gamestop didn't notice and said "Version no longer available"!
Finish to story, manager gives me my money back and to keep me as customer gave me code for Season Pass for BF1!!
