This is a friend of mine from school she has a petting zoo and here is two of her friends.

That does look like a Coati.  I used to have a band of them that would come up to my patrol car when I was in Panama.  Really curious and intelligent animals.  They always reminded me of a mix between a racoon and an anteater because their noses moved around so much.
