Was wondering the differences in ordering Battlefield 2042 through Origin or Steam. If ordered through steam do you still have to be logged into Origin account to play? For those who are going to order BF 2042 are you doing steam or Origin?

my guess is that even if you buy it on steam you will have to launch origin (might not be a full version of origin), I'm only guessing this because I guess that the friends system will be linked into origins friends. but i'm going to wait to see what specs are and see some more actual game play from none dice or ea players

Steam clearly indicates that it will be incorporating 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin Client software. So you'll need it.  So, if you will be purchasing BF???? then you'd be better off getting it on Origin.
