i booted up my game as ussual but when i got in game i had no kits or rank..
im using windows vista
this is not the first time this has happened
so if anyone with usefull info on how i could get my profile back would be greatly appreiciated
and no i did not get blue screen of death or any other problems getting into game other than no profile just gone

Have you look in your APP DATA ?
It should be there......

this sometimes works too; go into single player mode, load your profile, switch to multiplayer mode and your profiles should re-appear.

i tried to find app data but could not find it either im more computer eliterite than i thought   or it aint there but thnx 4 the tip i will try the solo methode next

make sure turn off the "hidden folders" option in your folders option dialog box otherwise appdata won't visiable. This option is enabled by default.
