I've been thinking about buying this, but for the PS3. I'm terrible when it comes to first person shooters on a console, but I've been wanting more games to play with an IRL friend I work with. He has actually been talking about buying me a copy of Black Ops for PS3 so we can play that together, so maybe I will buy this for PC if he does.

I already have mine preloaded, cuz I'm crazy like that... I've been waiting 2 years for this game (since I heard about it) unfortunately that means I'm either going to love it more than anything or hate it with an unbridled passion.
Either way, I'll probably do one of my reviews of it, so those of you who are on the fence will also have that little bit of advice to follow...

If you watch some of the game play vids and and game modes I think it will be a hoot to play and one thing I gleaned from the forums about the radar
"It's not always on. You show up on radar if you sprint while near an enemy, fire an unsilenced weapon, are spotted by an enemy, or an enemy Operative Comms Hacks one of your teammates. So you basically only show up if you make noise or have someone looking at you. There are ways of getting around that though. Suppressors for your guns, a Silent Running skill, etc. "
AND
" SMART is a dedicated button on your controller/keyboard. When you press the SMART button, your character sprints until you stop. When you hold the SMART button, the game will try and read your character's intentions as you approach obstacles and it will do parkour moves to navigate around (holding also will let you sprint). AKA freerunning, sliding into enemies hopping over walls etc

I picked this up yesterday. If anyone wants to get some games going, my Steam name is Trygar.
