I'm looking to buy a new wireless router and wanted some opinions on what to get.

I'm obviously gaming on my desktop, but wirelessly I have: laptop, tv, xbox360, bluray player, smartphones, tablet, printer etc.

Right now i'm leaning towards this router: Netgear N6300

Any thoughts or other routers that would be good.

I'm not new, I have an old 54g hooked up at the moment, but it's lacking the speed I want. It's adequate but just barely.

I've tried many; Netgear, Linksys, Dlink, Cisco, ASUS... the best one I've ever had is the Dlink DIR-655. There are newer one like it - the DIR-855 for example - but I've always come back to the 655, and I'm still using it today. Gigabit, Wireless N, excellent traffic management easy to set up, good GUI. I have 4 computers in my home and at least 3 are uploading/downloading 214/7, and it never affects my ping. LAN speeds are also good. The one tiny drawback is that it does not support Jumbo Packets, which would be nice. It has no 5ghz wireless - which is better direct line-of-sight range, but 2.4ghz is far better at penetrating walls. It can be found for under 100 bucks.

Nice to see some 802.11ac hardware out there, but it still look to not be finalised. Though I don't think N ever was, either. Naturally, the AC standard id nigh useless to you if you do not have endpoints that support it.

Linksys EA 3500
App enabled, I got one a few months ago and love it.
You can login in from anyway and change security options, enable guest wireless access, cut the kids of the Internet etc.

Plus it is super fast.

They have other options, depending on your budget.
