Fresh OS install, and upon searching for old previous high-contrast Areo theme, I found a .Far Better One


Only problem is, the checkmark inside checkboxes is pretty faint, and often hard to distinguish. So I'd like to change the checkmark to something closer to white. I have Resource Hacker installed already and am fairly comfortable with hex edit and such, but I'm not to hot with GIMP and Photoshop.

I've been looking guides, but much of the info I find is outdated, or related to Fista :/

Does anyone have experience with this stuff?
