Works in World at War, but I think only the 1-0 colours work.

The Method:

bind [key] "say \"insert text here\""

Example:

bind 7 "say \"^1****^3This is a ^2CROUCH TO MOVE ^3server. Crouch to move at all times.\""

So now hitting my "7" key will show ***This is a CROUCH TO MOVE Server. Crouch to move al all times.

Can someone type step by step how to key bind? I tried earlier stated way only to hit my key bind and the word bindfi showed up.... I know there are spaces between the word bind and saying... I guess I'm just asking can ya dummy it down so even a old guy can figure it out!! Thx.

Sorry Legion, I fudged the first post.

Fixed it. Yes, those are two sets of quotations.

Right... The double quotes will work for BO and W@W, but not required for W@W. Forgot this was in the W@w section.

I don't think you need the quotes. Just type in the console:

/bind 7 say ^1****^3This is a ^2CROUCH TO MOVE ^3server. Crouch to move at all times.

I had to re-install W@W and saved my profile info, but the keybinds didn't save for some reason. I've tried like three different ways and can't get them to work anymore for some reason. Any help would be cool. TY

restoring your config_mp.cfg didn't do it? That is where the binds are kept. If you changed hardware, maybe now-invalid lines rare mucking with your old cfg. try Copy/pasting the binds section from the old config_mp.cfg to the new one. You sure your'eputting your files in teh right place? The go into %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles

So far I get one word to show up but in front of the word it says unknown cmd lol.
