My friend sent me this email. If you are enterested let me know and I will put you in touch with him

I am putting my 30.06 M1 Garand on the market for $1200, firm. This rifle was manufactured in August of 1944, then refurbished by the Springfield Armory sometime after that. It is mechanically perfect and very accurate. Included in the sale will be an additional brand new walnut stock, 14 stripper clips, a canvas bandolier, and an older hard sided rifle case.

If I wasn't going to use the money to put Ape Hangers on my bike, I would be interested in buying this rifle.

Great rifles. I have one I purchased from the CMP several years ago. It's accurate enought to pop 1 liter soda bottles at 300 yards with WWII era ammo.... Smile
