To anyone that has never played Half Life 1 & 2, they are
quite excellent. Dare I say some of the best games - both in narrative and gameplay - that have ever come out.
It's reminded me to play through HL2 again, which brings me to suggest the Cinematic Mod, a 10gb mod that gives it a lovely graphics overhaul.

Oh my. Well it seems after the "Steampipe" update that changes all .gcf (assets) fiels to .vpk, the Cinematic Mod no longer works, though they are working on an updated version. Crud.
