So, my BF4 would crash the first launch, every time, and usually took an average of three launches before it finally worked. New GPU drivers, game/Origin updates, updating PB, Repairing Install.... All of this had zero affect.

But I read about some other folks that found that a complete uninstall/reinstall fixed their games, so I did it - and now it launches first time, every time. I uninstalled through Origin, the web plug-in, and deleted the leftover save folders in \My Documents\ ans well as the leftover folder in \Appdata\ and \Program Data\ (perhaps didn't need to be so thorough, but it beat having to D/L it for a third time). Luckily, my lovely connection only took just over 40 minutes to grab the whole nigh-30gb again, but it did the trick.

Now I just need someone to sell me a certain piece of hardware, and I'll be all set.

Oh ya. Does anyone else use gamepad software with BF4? I use my Rumblepad 2 to fly, but if i run the software, it fudges my mouse controls. All button work fine without it running, but the sticks respond better. I never had the issue with BF3....

Oh look, I'm creeping up on 2,000 forums posts. I'm a loser.

I have an Xbox 360 gamepad for my pc, I've found I need top keep it unplugged when playing BF4(since I prefer keyboard and mouse) otherwise it just sits there rumbling the entire time.
