Hey *BK*!!  How's it going?  First off, I would like to apologize for being so out of touch this summer, but it has been even harder than I thought to get reliable access to the internet.  (I am currently leeching WiFi from the local library).

So, on to the news.  For those of you who don't know me, I am currently living on my parents sailboat in southeastern Connecticut.  I work as a deckhand for a ferry company that takes cars and trucks from CT to Long Island, NY.  At the urging of my boss, I am going to take the test for  my 100ton Captains licence some time in the fall, which should open all sorts of opportunities in the commercial market.

SO, on to the bad news.  Do to an unfortunate chain of events, for which I have no one to blame but myself, I have lost my scholarships for school.  As a result, I will be taking a semester off from school, to try and get as much money as I can, while I look around for cheaper schools, with comparable majors.

I have been able to play a bit of COD with some local friends on a LAN, so dont think that I will be an easy target when I return Very Happy !  See you 'round!

Wow Awesome on the one hand for the captains license  and for suck on the bad news I hope that you are able to get that taken care of. One would think in the current state of the economy that you might be able to
find fairly comparable rates from schools with the programs that you are looking for.
Look forward to seeing you when you get back.!!

Ocean Engineering right now, but that could change to any form of engineering...  I am also persuing the idea of continuing with a career that would utilize my Capt. licences.
