Recent game/system issues

Just recently, I will start up either multiplayer or solo playing, will run for two or three minutes and then the screen will minimize on my desktop.  When I click on it the window opens up, but it is all black, I can hear some game sounds, but the game does not come back on.

I have to go to task manager, end the CoD process.  Restart it, it asks if I want to start in Safe Mode, I click no.  The game will restart again and I can play fine after that.

This process happens every single time I have played for the past 10 days.

Anyone else have this problem or pattern?  Any suggestions?

There are no error messages or anything else unusually that I can detect.

If its minimizing to the desktop, you have a process that is trying to either popup or make you aware of an issue.

My first suggestion would be to run a check for malware. I suggest you use the software from malwarebytes.
www.malwarebytes.org  -- Its free and works very well. After that you can run a virus scan just in case.

I am running Win7 and periodically I get drop to a black screen, but mine doesn't minimize. And I do get an error message, however the CoD window keeps me from seeing what the error was. You can get a general idea if its that by using task manager and instead of ending the process, check the running programs. Sometimes it will show another window that is loaded and some informaiton about it.

Hope this helps.

Also check and make sure your directx and video card drivers are up to date!

Try nvidia update if you have nvidia gpu.

You might try a program called game booster 1.2    If your game doesn't minimize to a black screen then it might suggest that a background process is interfering with your game. It is a handy program that stops unnecessary programs from running during the game and until you click it once to go back to normal mode.

Good luck.
