Just like the title says...what is your favorite one? I have played a lot and I still think they are all missing something.. I like the ones with mounts, pets, housing, and crafting...but they all get to a point where there is nothing new to discover or do (besides pvp) and I am only lvl 40 or so out of 60 or 70 lvls.

My favorite one so far has been Lord of the Rings Online. The graphics make it a pleasure to play, but again when I hit lvl 40 there seemed to be nothing new to offer. I've also played WoW and Warhammer Onlin (now that seems to have potential).

Got any suggestions?

Friend at work is raving about "  RF online" atm, freegame, leveling made easier from the chinese verious ( they do love grinding ), and graphics are good.

I find them all boring. How many times can you cast the same spell, or hack at another NPC before wanting to stick a Crystalforged Sword in your own chest. I have played Warhammer Online, World of Warcraft etc etc and usually get bored after a few months and kill off my characters and accounts.

Lord of the Rings Online for me, too.  Tried WoW (VERY briefly), Warhammer, and Aion.  Lotro has the most staying power largely because of the rich, consistent, well-known lore Tolkien spent his life laying out. Other games just whip something together and make silly names and say "done!".

That said, PvP is very hard to get right in MMORPGs and none have got it right to date, in my opinion. As a result, I prefer to not do PvP and thus again Lotro wins for me as PvP there is a largely separate piece you can safely ignore.

PVP in City Of Heroes was pretty awesome for a while.  So far my favorite PVP in any MMO I've tried.  Sadly they screwed it up pretty bad.
