TeamSpeak version 3 is upon us (thanks to pst*joker for the heads-up).

When it comes to voice comms, I know that many of you have, over the years, chosen to use Triton CI & Associates Inc's TeamSpeak over other VOIP products such as Ventrilo. The most common reasons for choosing TS over Vent are:

       * Money. TS is free, whereas you have to pay to use a Ventrilo server (though the application is free for the client).
       * Slots. You can have an unlimited number of clients connecting...though I'm sure there is an upper practical limit.

I personally have not liked TS (currently at version 2) due to the poor sound quality relative to Vent; however, I will be keeping my ears open for TeamSpeak 3, which will be in OPEN BETA, commencing Saturday the 19th of December.

The TS 3 beta will begin at:

       * 13:37 CET (Central European Time)
       * 07:37 EST (Eastern Standard Time)
