I kno that some of us do not like Steam, but for those of us who use it, Bad Company 2 sounds like it will be coming to Steam, and the preorder will be available soon, with "certain preorder incentives". maybe access to the beta?

I don't know why anyone would dislike steam... it's a great program, doesn't take up much resources, and you get bunches of amazing sales on it.

Just so you all know, steam does not mean you don't get a hard copy. All it means is that you can choose to buy it on steam if you want, and you have to have a steam account to play the game (which isn't bad at all).

It really depends on the game, because I got stalker for 2.50 dollars, I got Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for 5 dollars, and I've bought numerous games for very cheap. Usually a game on steam will be exactly the same amount as it is in a store, but you just don't get the physical copy.

My problem with steam is that you have to be connected to the internet install and play (at least the first time). For myself I lived in te country for the last two years and could not play any Steam game as I had no means to connect.
