Well I shut everything down last night as per normal fired it up this morning and COD won't work grrr, you load up and start playing then it shuts down and gives you "Unhandled Exception caught" error....not a lot to go on, chane=ged all the ingame setting to default and sound is at 16bit.

I don't really want to reinstall the game but if I have to I will, any ideas or anyone else experienced this?

Yeah Mr T, I lowered it to 16bit 44100 cd quality, still no go.

Thanks Totenkof I tried those sites already, guess I may as well bite the bullet save my profile and reinstall the game, probably end up the quicker option.

Just an FYI update, this has happened to me several times since, the only fix without reinstalling is simply restart your PC, works fine after that :}
