Oops double post.

like today, i was playing on and off between 8am to 6pm and never crashed once, while yesterday, for a solid 3 hours, I would be lucky to even play a full map. If it was our hardware it would be consistent, and therefore, I am left to believe that its on Treyarchs end.

New ATI drivers out a few days now.  Installed them when I got home from work today.  Huge framerate boost.  Still crashed partway through a map.  

Took some effort but I *finally* found the updated driver. For some reason, the usual path kept forcing me to the hotfix page. (sigh)

I finally got the black screen of death last night.

Everything went black and I got this weird buzzing and occasional pop sounds from my speakers.

Everything was locked up and I had to perform a hard restart but everything was fine after that.

Very strange.
