Steam has my name as ranger3. If I go into steam and change it to Nam-Ranger will I have to start ove at Lv1?

if you dele your steam acc. you`ll start with level 1^^ but not 4 changing your player name..

NO you will be fine.  Everything Stat and Score wise is based off your steam account, but you can change your in game name without effecting your profile.  Just login to steam, click the friend tab, and then look for the change in-game name option.  Type in what ever you want for your name and you are good to go.  This is also where and how you can put the *BK* after your name too!!  Good Luck

Just wait until the end of a game, hop out of the server and the game, open steam window, change your name, and then close and reopen steam, then hop back into the game.....easy as cake!

actually one can change their name in game. Press Shift+Tab, go to friends tab, select the down arrow on your name(top right), and select change profile name.
