Installed and played for several hours yesterday and really enjoyed the new experience. DICE continues to impress, and gladly throw them $15 to reward their ongoing efforts for the Battlefield series.
The game mechanics are the same as BC2, with limited weapons and no optics except for sniper rifles. Flame thrower is awesome. Not nearly as open as BC2, choke points aka MOH. Your BC2 stats/rank carry over.
The graphics are jaw dropping, makes MOH/COD pale in comparison. That said, my fps average 90-100 with single GTX480 with in game gpu usage around 90%. Obvious to me, dice did some optimization from BC2, since my gpu usage in that game was 50-60%.

BTW, if you have the latest BC2 patch, you've already downloaded the content. Once you pay for it on EA or Steam and receive and enter your unlock code, you'll be playing instantly. I went from not owning it to playing it in 10 minutes last night.

Have been on the last 2 nights and really enjoy the game. Great weapons and oh by the way.....blow torch for the engie
