Now for the million dollar question...

Hey all...

I've had BO since it came out, but had only played the SP part up until recently...been playig MP now for about a month or so, finding my way through which I'm still somewhat lost a little, but getting my skills back like I had with WaW and the first MW...and I finally reached Level 50...

Now for the million dollar question... To Prestige or Not to Prestige?

The pros I see are a few more customizable slots...and the points/cash awarded are a bit higher from what I've read...also read that I should buy all the slots for the emblem, etc since they don't have to be bought again no matter how many times you go through the prestige stages...and for the record I'm not at all concerned about getting a golden weapon...I'm there for combat and don't need something flashy giving away my postion...heh

Cons: Having to go through the paces again and again, not to mention doing the stuff to unlock the Pro Perks...

Let the debate/answers begin!

And thanks for any and all suggestions...

Wolf...

If you play a bit every day, then yes - it will force you to use different weapons, attachments, etc. and that learning can be worth it alone. If you don't play very often then I wouldn't suggest doing it. Keep in mind ranking up will go faster as you now know more than when you first started. Good luck!

I always prestige when I get there for a few reasons. Like Slaymore said it makes you use kits you usually wouldn't use. It also keeps the game interesting and new. The first 10-20 lvls go really quick anyway, and it gives me something to work for to unlock the pro perks and new weapons. Otherwise it's just the same old game over and over.

I like the different emblems you get for prestiging. Im level 49 just about to hit my 2nd prestige. Wish I played more, leveling would go alot faster.

I believe you get more gun slots when you prestige too.

honestly, if you don't prestige, it gets boring. I would say keep level 50 for a little bit and then prestige when it gets boring.

Well I bit the proverbial bullet...I unlocked Prestige...

Figure going in, after having reviewed my current setups, I now know what I prefer and want to purchase versus just buying it all...

Should make for better load outs I hope...

Wish me luck!

I prestige because it would get boring and I have yet to complete a game fully. I might not get all the challenges but I plan on doing as much as I can before BF3 comes out.
