Actually, by pure luck. I talked really nice to the person on a phone not email and she asked someone if they could help me with a name change. I explained that I only picked the original game like 8 years ago so I could open a EA account. I told them I wanted something more current so my friends could recognize my account easier and Voila! It was done.

Mine is Cakewalker, from the old EA site, but will try to change it to Cake or Cake1, etc. in the real game.
