How do I employ countermeasures in game? Such as flares (when unlocked) for air , or smoke and such for ground vehicles? Also is the only place you can change loadouts or change player  controls actually when in a game? Some basic ?'s here for a BF noob but I need help!! Last one. It seems you have an unlimited amount of anti tank mines. Even after you respawn your old mines are still there and your given more...true?Thx for your help!!

I think it's one of the numbered keys, either 3 or 4 for gadget 1 and gadget 2.
You get 2-3 mines at the start and you can replenish so long as there's ammo nearby. And the mines stay until they're destroyed even if you die.

Flares/smoke is your crouch key. Yes, you have to be in game to tweak loadouts/key bindings. You get 3 mines (6mines with explosive perk enabled) and they remain where placed.  However, you can pick (hold r) and relocate.
