Hi folks.

Now that BF3 has been patched, most every broken feature in multi-monitor - missing icons, superwide glare effects, wonky HUD - have all been fixed.  However, one flaw remains:

If you're like me, and running your game at the native triple-wide resolution runs too slow on your rig (6032x1200, in my case). Whenever I ran min in a lower triple-wide res, the HUD and menu placement was off, which made for lousy gaming. But after digging around WSGF, i found a solution. Just set your Windows to your non-native Eyefinity/NV Surround resolution BEFORE starting the game. Then all is well.

Now that I've finally had a chance to play a few rounds on all three displays, it's quite freaking amazing. I was in a chopper as a side-gunner today and i actually got nauseous while i was being flown in circles around the map. It's been a long time since a game gave me vertigo.

Any, I just though I'd share this. Although I only know of myself and one other user that runs games on three screens, I'm sure there are more.

Anyone else interested in multi-monitor gaming - the best source for info, help, etc. is http://widescreengamingforum.com/forum / I ahve no stake in it or anything, but it's THE place to go.

I too have a 3-screen set-up ... however I have to disable it before I can load the game. I will check out the posts sometime.
Cheers.
