For anybody that has a ATI/AMD 6950 2GB video card and wants to flash the BIOS to the 6970 2GB BIOS I have here a group of files that can help you.

I have included detailed instructions as well.

There's also a shader-only unlock flash that leaves VRAM voltages be. Many folks had reported frying their VRAM or  other card components, as many models use different voltages, such as my ASUS 6950. I cannot find the shader-only I thought i had backed up, but Techpowerup.com has guides.

Additionally, if your 6950 doesn't have that little BIOS switch beside the Crossfire bridge, you will not be able to revert the BIOS if something goes awry.

Now that all that stuff is out of the way, I did it to my card and it was super-easy, and gave me a fair boost in framerates.
