Just a quick update. I have my computer up and running!!!. Just waiting to save enough $$ to get the ol' internet up and running. Still having back issues. I've went in for 2 injections and am scheduled for a third soon. They are going to try and "block the nerve" what ever that means. If anyone had the same thing, or know what they are talking about, please let me know what to expect. Big words and the doctor talk has me confused. Not hard for me tho..LOL
It's real boring sitting at home with nothing to do. Once you lose the gaming experience, you realize you are like a junkie...LOL
Well take care all. Hoping to be able to get back soon...

Good to hear from you Gump. I had the same thing done on my back 4 months ago and they did nothing for me and i ended up having surgry on nov 3rd. I had a double microdiscectomy. One at L5-S1 and L4-L5. To answer your question on the nerve block, its the same procedure so no worries mate. instead of going into the disk, they go in the side where the nerve comes out of the spine. It takes a bit longer then the other ones you had, but you won't feel anything( pain wise ) If you have any ?s please give me a pm or post here.  Good luck Buddy

Hey Gump, i had a nerve block last march and have not had any problems sense. Its an injection like the others only its in the nerve. Im not sure what problem you were having, mine was causing pain down my leg. When you get the shot it will just feel like a cramp while the needle is in the nerve. My pain was gone as soon as i got the shot. Good luck.  Half
