Using a barely-updated version of the oooooold engine, I figured it to be barely higher than Black Ops and W@W, so what you posted sounds about right. I just hope it has proper multi-monitor support. But no COD game to date has, so I don't expect it.

Just found those exact specs on the official forums, so they seem accurate.

I think if I cut my computer in half I would still have 10x the power needed for BO2.  How disappointing.

I'm very interested to see how the final game looks when it comes out. Will it really need the extra hard wear?

I on the other hand find myself very surprised and happy. Surprised since the BO2 can go on 4+ year old computer. When I heard it was coming out i figured i wouldn't even have a 1/4 of the what minimum called for. That being said i just make the requirements with my system.

raptor, how can you not run it? these are pretty much the same requirements as W@W, Black Ops 1, and MW2 & 3...

also, where are you falling short? I have 8gb of ddr2 ram, an ATI hd 4870, and a quad core AMD 2.5GHz lying around collecting dust.  If you want any of that, PM me.

ah, yes, i see it requires DX 11, which is not available for XP, well if you want the graphics card (ati4870), its yours for the cost of shipping.  I have an ati 5970 as well, but i was planning on asking $200 for it on ebay this week; if you wanted a bigger performance jump we could work something out with that.

..."requires windows vista sp2; you have windows vista sp2, INSUFFICIENT" ... lolwut?

you can always check to see if there are any windows updates that you missed.  and lemme know about the graphics card, shipping to you is $32.95 USD.
