Black Ops problem

I've been playing black ops and I noticed it started saying some changes had been made to my computer since last played. Which was weird since all I don't was quit the game and play it again the next day, didn't even shut down the computer. After a few days of that all of a sudden black ops just stopped working. Computer said something about and "EXE" file not found. Game wouldn't even pull up. I've unistalled and reinstalled twice and after playing one night, the next day it does it again. I'm currenlty reinstalling it now, but these is getting ridiculous. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. I don't believe it's my computer, I have an Asus G74S with windows 7.

I would advise restarting your computer and then check the integrity of the game in steam. I know that steam has had a couple of updates recently.

Even though windows is better now than it ever was, I would not trust it to run perfectly for more than a few days at a time.

I think one of our members had 78% invalid files so had to reverify most of the game.
Good Luck!

Just remember if you do that, you may have to reset any changes you made in your config file. My 2 cents I would suggest running anti-virus make sure you dont have a virus messing with your files and do a hd check make sure your not having hd issues.
