Seeing as how a bracket is invalid in username how does one get their rank to show in game?

go to multiplayer options, for clan tag, in your case, type SGT, the brackets will appear in the front and back in game, make sense?

Under Multiplayer Options there is a place for a tag.  You are limited to 4 characters.
