Grandpa's 1928 Chevy

Well by now I think most know about this, but for those that don't on Feb. 19th my grandfather and grandmother suffered a terrible fire in Flint, Michigan.  we lost my grandfather in the fire.  Ten days later we lost my grandmother.   It had been a pretty hard 3 weeks, but life is back to normal for the most part.

My grandparent's house was a total loss, however my grandfather's 1928 mint condition Chevy managed to survive the fire, for the most part.

It did have smoke damage as the picture will show and a little bit of the paint was heated, however with a little TLC it will be back to the shape my grandfather had it in.

The reason I am posting about this is because I was explaining the car to everyone on teamspeak and said I would post a few pictures.  The first two are after the fire, the rest are from years past.

Sorry for your loss. The car can be replaced but not your family. I'm sure you will make the neccesary repairs on your Grampas car!!! Sweet gesture from his grandson!! Best of luck.
