I need some sugestions. I would like to build a gameing rig. One that will be able to play the new games that might be coming out in the next couple of years. Any suggestions on ANY componets or set ups? I will start by saying that prices are not important, and adjust them to meet my limit.(I will need everything for the rig,mouse,monitor,etc)

Budget? If you have money to burn, get a multi monitor steps. You need EVERYTHING, including a case?

Yes I have nothing right now and will be needing everything. I saw some on Cyber Power that looked like good buys, but I don't know a lot about computers. That's why I am going to let Meaneye's son build one for me or just buy one out right.

Cyber Power has good base systems that you can customize all you want. You can pick out the parts and they will build it for you...pretty good for the money. Again...that does depend on what your budget is...

Build your own. Pick your parts. Particularly, do not get a generic 'pre-built' type case. They are terrible.
but ya - at least the newest or previous CPU and GPU families, 16gb at least 1600mhz, a quality PSU - Antec, Corsair, Enermax, Silverstone, Thermtake, Coolermaster (I'd also recommend a modular PSU) - WD Caviar "Black" hard drive, and a SSD, if you like. Personally, I don't understand the fascination over SSD drives. Yes, your PC will boot up very quickly, and smaller applications adn games will load faster. but I have some nice platter drives and my PC boots in under 30 seconds (including logon), and I load games right behidn SSD owners. Plsu their relatively high ailure rate and cost just isn't worth it. To me. I tried an SSD, and wasn't all too impressed. I'm sure someone will offer a counter. But if you Do get an SSd, go or Intel. They are a bit more costly, but are the most reliable. New boards have pretty nice onboard audio, but a mid-range audio card will give you much more. ANd if you tie it to a ice set of TRUE surround headphones or speakers, you'll be set. There are far too many nice cases to really suggest any. Good fan options, space for a radiator, cable management, and ease o access are thing to look for. Get a gaming mouse that's the most comfortable for you. Gaming keyboards are spiffy, But I've ever used their keys, so I just go for high quality plain keyboards. AAnd multiple displays. The more the merrier, but even a second comes in handy oh-so-often. I run 4, and use all them them constantly. If you also need a display, try to avoid TN panels. They are the most common and cheap, but they lack in color repruduction adn picture consistency. Unfortunately, the panel type is rarely listed upfront.

Oh, and get an aftermarket cooler and get the kid to OC it a bit or you.

Just a few suggestions utilizing Abrams, MisterD's and three6 parts list. Research your CPU first to find one that fits your budget and still does what you want. Select a motherboard that can be updated to the next generation CPU's (GIGABYTE and ASUS are very reliable brands), select RAM that matches your motherboard high end requirements and get gaming specific RAM, you'll be glad you did. Get at least a 500 gb hard drive (WD black edition is one of your best bets), and select a large roomy case with plenty of fans that will easily dissipate heat (cooler master has a very good selection). Make sure that your power supply can deliver more power than you need, that way its not being taxed and will easily run your rigs goodies and will last longer (1000 watt modular from a reputable proven brand like Corsair). Taz, I was thinking of going with on from Cyber Power. Just have not made up my mind yet on one. Mean Eyes son looked up the parts on New Ege and can't really compete with there prices. If any of you have the time to look at these, please give your opinions.

looks like a beast Rybay, possiblye grab a AIO cpu cooler, im running a swiftech H220 but a corsair H80i would do ya well if you dont plan on overclocking much

Make sure that MB has 4 RAM slots
I would go with 2 1TB drives instead of 1 2TB less to lose if one fails Easier to manage one with all game one with music photos so on so on
Dont skimp on the power supply not sure about sea sonic stick with name brand Corsair,cooler master,thermaltake,rosewill price point is not alot you want stable power not just a lot of watts
Grab a cosair H80 or H100 cheap quiet easy maintenance free.i think an h100 is 99 US at new egg.
