I see that our Black Ops server is still on Mixed Mode from Shotgun Frday. Does this mean we're keeping it as such, or has no one bothered to switch it back? I ask in TS a couple times, and all i get is tacit , "i guess so" answers. If it stays leik that, I'll certainly be staying off,other than to get it populated. Many modes promote spawn and point camping, which I've never been a fan of.

So is this laziness, or an unannounced change?

Several people asked to leave it this way. Activity has been so low we thought it may put a spark back into the server. I'll switch it back at some point.

Fair enough. Guests don't seem to mind - activity has been good and I've seen no complaints in chat. I seem to be the only BK to dislike the change.

I wouldn't mind seeing it back to TDM … especially during the high scores competition - but I don't mind a little change up now and then. The only problem is that when the server only has 4-8 people on it - trying to play one of these objective style maps gets really difficult. You definitely need more people to play obj maps enjoyably. Also - trying to police runners on modes like CTF gets tiresome. By the time you've warned a runner three times - he's gone off and captured the flag three times and won the game. Personally - I'd like to see it back to TDM and running on mixed mode only on special days like Shotgun Friday…. but whatever works, I guess!
