To me this sounds like it is a good idea for the clan based on the forum post and the chit chat in TS. It seems to be what the majority wants and enjoys. Even tho I do not play there I support  the decision of no recon.  

And who knows Two-Four maybe we can get a 32 man run & gun server with out heavy armor for those members who enjoy that game play type. There are more of us than you might think. But back to the topic at hand. For those members who enjoy playing recon class there is server 2. Even tho it is run and gun the recon class can be effective on the larger servers.

This is a positive move for your server.  Everyone will enjoy the added weapon variety now that people can't go to their crutch bolt-sniper gun.

I know it was no easy decision for the officers. I'm in favor of the new rule and ask any members who are opposed to at least give it a chance or as stated above we have our #2 server.
Thanks again to the officers for doing what they feel is best for the clan as a whole and continued growth.

they didn't limit the sniper rifle, but the whole recon class and the perks that go with it... I like the recon class for more than the sniper rifle... I love the tact insert to be able to control my squads spawns... as this adds a very tactful advantage... I have said it and so have many of others, to limit the sniper is one thing...but now we have lost more than 6 perks from the class.

But I still prefer Crouch.

I will make a more lucid statement later but I want to put something in perspective.  Its NOT 10 out of 500 who disagree because that isnt the applicable group.  Its 10 out of the 20 to ( generous ) 30 members who not only play BF4 but BF4 server 1 crouch.  I think the original statement was blatantly biased.  While I am not in a firmly agree or disagree camp.  My major issue is ....whats changed?  We have had the same arguments since WaW but now all the sudden they carry more weight?  Why?  My K/D has soared since the change so there are very positive aspects to it for me.  But now that snipers are gone its already comments about RPG's etc..   NOt against change just against change w/o a VALID justification ( not just for changes sake or because we are trying to placate ppl who I feel can be unreasonable in their arguments and justifications )  Dont turn this into a class/perk witch hunt please.  

P.S not going anywhere unless it does survived two schisms before and this current atmosphere is bringing flashbacks

it comes down to how hardcore of a gamer are you. I mean if ur whining about all perks on a hardcore server then go play on a normal mode map. I have no problem not using a sniper rifle but its on hardcore. I thought this clan was hardcore. I cant even sit in ts welcome channel anymore because there is just soooo much complaining, and Im not calling anyone out but If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. If you cant handle hardcore go to a normal server.  Don't complain because you cant win and whine to have something changed,go out and FIND A WAY TO WIN, thats how u get better.  watch my video about Bruce Lee at the top.  Its just going too far now. It starts with recon, next its the mortaring in spawn, then its the auto sniper rifles, rpg's etc.

I was upset at first, with the whole class being gone... but after some play time in it, its not so bad.  A lot of other classes have been made stronger because of this.... lets just roll with it till the end of the year and see how it goes!!!

No Im not upset I have no problem using any other weapons but Im used to hardcore being hardcore
