Hello Gents.
I have an issue here. For some unknown reason my system (Win 7) has slowed down to a point where when I open a application, or open up my browser and got to site to site, it takes a while. And it's happening on IE, Firefox, and Crome. I ran ccleaner, malware, and my antivirus and it's still running slow. My only thought now is to reformat my drive. What do you all think??
Thank You.

Are you saying it takes a while to even open any programs or to navigate to different websites?

What I mean is the system "Lags" or "Delays" when I open Any program, clicking on a link, or start up my browser and go to site to site, it just Lags. Meaning there was a time when I could perform these tasks with no lag at all.

Something eating up system resources maybe? Check your task manager. RIght click taskbar and select task manager, select processes tab, click CPU column, and also memory column. See if anything is consistently high.

the is one other possible issue and this is if some hardware is on its way out like ram or mobo. but this is unlikely with out showing other issues like bsod. buf i agree as long as your not running a ssd a defrag can help massively, and also look for applications that don't need to be running and close them.

I think the issue was with my video card from some reason. It has two power slots, and one of power supply cables was not hooked up. (My Bad and that account. Now it looks like it's back to normal.

Failing video card.
Does system have onboard video?
If so pull video card and run on the on board just for a test.

As a matter of fact, the card that I have rmaed is brand new after I rmaed my other card. And mo, my motherboard does not have a on board card. What I can do is place a evga gt-9800 in there, but all the games that I have are unable to use that card.

My PSU is 1250w and it's running Great. I have fans on everything in my computer, and once every week I clean out my case.
