After the FFA Friday 13th day, i noticed the shotty only maps were extremely popular. lots of ppl, members and non members alike, said they would like to do a black ops style shotgun friday. I think we could  trial it, with a modified map list and maybe, a mix of game modes TDM DOM CTF etc.(or not).
It would not all day but from say, 12 noon till 11pm (EST). This would give us Aussies a chance to play, as 12 noon is about 4am and 11pm is 2pm here, i think.
i have conducted an in game poll on this and the results are encouraging with about 80% or so wanting to try it.
Shotgun + knives only, Tac' nades, bettys, satchel and maybe Flame thrower and molotov cocktail
No: Marty, last stand, riflenades, bazooka or pistols at all (plenty of ammo on the ground).
We could do a 1 off event, or, as i asked in game once a month to start with. Or am i just stark raving mad?

Any suggestions?  I think we could make this great, just like Black Ops.

Never hurts to try. But any Bk that join it,  I'd  suggest making  some key binds that spell out the rules.

Maybe 4-8 hours the first time,  and if the response is good,  do a longer one next Friday,  or even the full day.  This is more or less how the event became a regular thing in  Black Ops.

Sounds a great idea but also agree with Abram for a short session maybe 4 hours.  Shotguns are always fun particularly on maps not normally in rotation. You will need some help to set it up and also an admin to assist. If love to be there but am working (Aussie time Saturday ) .

Can someone assist Krinkle with this please?
