I'm think it's pretty cool that they added the Payday 2 masks. I'm sure it's fitting the way some bandits play the game. Here are a few lousy screen shots that I have taken of this beautiful game.

Not usually a pretty start

But it gets better (on the private server at least lol)

I think Abram made a great point about DayZ
"That is part of what makes the game so enjoyable for those that play it. Getting killed actually means something. If you started out fully geared, you wouldn't care about being killed. Even today, my heart still jumps into my throat when i hear footsteps or a distant gunshot."

I've never played an FPS game that made me fear dying until DayZ. But the more you die, the less you fear it.

The beautiful thing about DayZ is that you can play in a persistent server and gear up. Any other persistent server you join, you will have the same gear and be in the same position of where you last logged out. A few friends of mine were playing in an empty persistent server. We all logged out in a house by Electro a major city. We then joined a full  (50  people) persistent server and spawned in the same house for some PvP fun. If you haven't played the game, the map is huuuuuuuggggggeeeeee so running into other players unexpected isn't a routine event on moderately populated servers.

Stop building fires in houses, so not safe.

What server do you mainly play on?

Hey the side of the jail is a great place for a fire...you get protection from the rain too. I was just trying to craft and see the furnace...it took 8 rocks and 10 twigs to make that beast. Really I'll play on any server...mainly persistent. I just wish I knew how many of you had this game. In my opinion, It would be really fun to do a PvP server raid with all of us starting out from the same building/area sometime.
