My best experiences playing FPS games were always on BK run servers. Unfortunately, the developers for many of the FPS games since then seems to have little regard for the community and launch with only temporary hosted game sessions as a means for players to play together. I've skipped many of these titles purely for that reason, including BF:2042, even though I consider myself a huge DICE/BF fan. I'm wondering if there is any upcoming title that will allow BK to run its owner server(s) again. Any time I hear of a new FPS game, the potential for BK to run a dedicated server is my first thought.

Thank you for posting. Unfortunately, there are ZERO plans for any dedicated servers on any platform for the foreseeable future.

I agree KevMan looks like there is no financial incentive to have the rentable server paradigm. If there was you can ‘bet’ it would be done. So yep not a thing I believe will happen anytime soon. BTW we are having a ball playing on servers they way they are and don’t really get into what ifs anymore so come on back I think the fun meter for us is very healthy.
