Does anyone use Game Accelerator?  If so, what kind of performance increases are you seeing.  Is it worth $16 ?  Thanks for the help !!!

Basically what game booster does is turn off processes MOST people dont use while gaming ( IE printer spool )

also it try's to defrag them; ( although ill leave my defragging to my own personal defragger )

If you have a high end gaming machine with a good graphics card, those progams won't make a bit of  difference. Your games will still run just as good without them. If you're computer is marginal and has trouble with games such as COD5, chances are you'll see little if any improvement. My opinion they are a waste of money.

If you can get one that's free (without having to download a bunch of spyware and or toolbars ect.) then I suppose it couldn't hurt to try it out.
