May not work, but unless its my imagination i got 10 more fps from this:
1. open bfbc2 beta.
2. wait til you get to the play now/login screen then alt+tab to desktop.
3. open task manager (ctrl+alt+del), click the processes tab.
4. right click the bfbc2, click set priority and set to high.
5. right click the bfbc2, click set affinity.
6. DISABLE CPU 1, click OK. Now re-enable the same CPU you disabled.
7. Play the game
this wasnt my idea... stole it from game forums

Basically by doing that your just putting the main priority of the processor to the game; which isnt a bad idea but for some with slower processors will find there game to lag more;
