So Ubisoft have introduced this new DRM requiring the internet. If you're playing single player and your connection drops you get kicked out the game and lose all progress since the last save. Fantastic. Are they trying to kill PC gaming?

I saw this about a  week ago and today I heard that at any time if you lose internet as we all do the game shuts down. You do not get any options to save or wait to reconect it just turns off.

yes they ARE trying to kill pc gaming... probably because of all the low lifes who keep stealing their games off the internet... lol
