Before this point I was leaning to the new MoH over CoD, but with the recent news coming out of gamescon that the PC version of Black Ops will bring the in game consol and mod tools back to the Call of Duty franchise, I think my position has be swayed in the direction of ole' faithful.

This is from the call of duty website

Quote:

We plan to open the game up for modding sometime post-launch. We do not know yet to what extent you will be able to mod the game. There are some purely technical issues related to engine and internal tool enhancements that do not easily fit the modtools paradigm. We have looked at it close enough to see that it is non-trivial and we will have to pick it up again post-launch. Right now we are completely focused on finishing the game.

And, dev console: confirmed.

my thoughts are... how long after launch?! Ive seen several games wait a whole year after the game launch b4 they released them. If that's the case that's a long wait lol Ill try the single player b4 i buy it ^_^
