The skinny

1939 Chevy Pickup Cab

1940 Plymouth Pickup Flathead and Trans (One of only about 3,000 made)

1984 Toyota 2wd frame



Here's the beginin stages, after the cab was gettin the chop finished.




Mocking up the Motor and trans Location for the first time.



Cleaning the Toyota frame of all the Toyota stuff.

Dropped the cab on just to get the feel for the attitude of the truck

Lovin the Green. yes this is the final color.




"Z"ing the frame. using the rest of the Toyota frame pieces, but cut and turned over for a foundation to build a bed on it.








Welding in the caps on the Z'd part of the frame



It's officially sitting on it's own suspension.




Testing the feel for Original Grill. wasn't likin the was it was too skinny at the bottom.




so after making a few more calls, and trying to round up another option for a grill, my father in law calls me and tells me to check out his..

AWESOME!! it's a grill off of a 1937-1939 Ford 8N tractor!!!! Perfect!!  now I gotta weld it together, and cut most of the back off.
