Hasn't happened yet.  Though I wouldn't be surprised if it did.  Try all the usual fixes.

Have you dont anything to your PC since the last time you played.  Updates, virus scan, or firewall update.

I havent had any issues today, but if you havent updated anything I would uninstall BO and Steam and start over.  You wont lose any of your achievements since they are saved on steam with your login.

nope never did anything, I was playing it, everything going fine, closed out, started working a project using powerpoint and word, finished up, tried to re-open it and it wont do anything, almost as if I never tried to open it at all.

Yeah then at this point I would go for the uninstall and reinstall.  My system crashed on me last weekend so I had to reinstall everything.  Only took me about 45 minutes with steam and all the updates.

Had a similar issue the first week, it happened twice but so far is now gone. I would go to load and there was a image file missing for the load screen and BO would not run. Reinstalled twice and after the second time it has not happened again. I think one of my system tools likely caused the issue.

Hi Strand, I had the same problem today. I started BO and Steam said "The game is not available at the moment, please try again later."

I uninstalled Steam and reinstalled both and it works as usual.
